I think we often determine our value based on our roles and responsibilities, rather than our thought processes, internal values, or intangible personality traits. Our value is also often determined by others based on predetermined labels, stereotypes, or expectations. We are so much more than these labels and these roles we occupy in life. To define someone is to limit them. Let us recognize each other’s growth and amplify the voices of those who desire change.
