Mental Health Seminar

FreeThe Perspectives Project aims to introduce cultural sensitivity mental health support specific to Asian Americans and people of color at UW–Madison. Through this project, they hope to fill a current gap in mental health education and diminish the stigma around mental illnesses in P.O.C. communities. The Project is working with NAMI Dane County to develop a culturally sensitive mental health workshop series and social media campaign for students who do not feel comfortable with current services.
