Navigating the Challenges of Starting a Business

Come join Student Veterans of America in welcoming a UW-Madison Alum,
Samuel Stern! He is the Co-Founder of Venture Beyond Comfort, which is a
Philadelphia area start-up that assists veterans and other aspiring
entrepreneurs by helping them navigate the financial hurdles that
accompany starting a new business. Samuel served in the United States
Navy and was also an instructor for two years at the Naval Submarine
School in New London, Connecticut. He will be discussing the challenges of
starting a business and how he uses what he learned from his years at UWMadison
to excel in his career. Come gain knowledge about starting a
business, networking, and learning about leadership skills!
