The theme for this year’s conference is, Organizing is the Antidote to Despair, and will feature a plenary presentation from Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba, authors of Let this Radicalize You: Organizing and the Revolution of Reciprocal Care.

Breakout sessions will include topics on:

  • Organizing against the punishment paradigm
  • Social workers organizing with immigrant communities
  • Organizing access to abortion
  • Cross movement organizing for transformative mental health
  • Abolitionist perspectives in school social work

  • One day: Friday, January 31, 2025
  • All online. Breakout sessions on Zoom and the plenary will be on YouTube. Links will be sent to registered participations the week of the conference.
  • The conference is free to attend. We just ask that you register.
  • Continuing education (CEU/CEH) credits will be offered at no cost.
  • Captioning/CART services will be available throughout the conference.
