The theme for this year’s conference is, Organizing is the Antidote to Despair, and will feature a plenary presentation from Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba, authors of Let this Radicalize You: Organizing and the Revolution of Reciprocal Care.
Breakout sessions will include topics on:
- Organizing against the punishment paradigm
- Social workers organizing with immigrant communities
- Organizing access to abortion
- Cross movement organizing for transformative mental health
- Abolitionist perspectives in school social work

- All online. Breakout sessions on Zoom and the plenary will be on YouTube. Links will be sent to registered participations the week of the conference.
- The conference is free to attend. We just ask that you register.
- Continuing education (CEU/CEH) credits will be offered at no cost.
