What niche do you fill in the Center for Leadership and Involvement?

I oversee the overall direction and vision of the Center.

Academic Background:

BA in Sociology, MPA in nonprofit management

Areas of Interest:

Anything outdoors – hiking, running, camping, biking Basketball and spending time with my family

Personal Biography:

I attended St. Norbert College received my BA in sociology in 1996. I attended Indiana University and received my MPA in non-profit management in 1998. After graduate school, I spent a summer sailing and scuba diving in the Caribbean before moving and living in Seattle WA for one year. Starting in 2000, I spent almost six years as the program director at Bethel Horizons, a camp and retreat center in Dodgeville, WI. In Nov. 2005, I began as the advisor to the Adventure Learning Programs and in May 2010 assumed the role of director.

What do you think every student should know about the UW-Madison campus?

For each and every student, there is a Wisconsin Experience waiting for him or her to invest himself or herself in. It is our hope that the Center for Leadership Development can assist with this endeavor.
