Position title: Student Coordinator
Areas of Specialty:
Coordinating and Involvement
B.A., French Language in Literature, Michigan State University
M.A., French Language and Literature, Michigan State University
Ph.D., Student, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Areas of Interest:
I enjoy cooking overly elaborate dinners, watching and appreciating equally art-house film and reality trash, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
I grew up in a tiny, actual village in the Thumb of Michigan and went to school at Michigan State University. After receiving my B.A., I taught English in Le Mans, France before returning to Michigan State in 2013. I’ve lived in Madison since 2015, and I’ve never loved a place I’ve lived more. I’ve taught courses in the French Department and in Communication Arts Department here. I’ve really come to love teaching and enjoy nothing more than to see students grow throughout a semester.
“If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud.” Émile Zola
What every student should know about the UW campus:
Campus is huge and some of the buildings are labyrinthine, but once you get the hang of it, it’s like home. Also, the Terrace. And Picnic Point.
