Position title: Leadership Development Student Coordinator
Areas of Specialty:
I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work.
B.A in Psychology with minors in Music and Spanish, College of Saint Benedict
Areas of Interest:
Making and listening to music, rock climbing, meditating, stress-baking, cross-country skiing, dancing, spending time with my co-op, surfing, kayaking with my dog, and growing and eating vegetables.
I grew up and attended college in Minnesota where I spent most of my free time participating in various musical ensembles, conducting psychology research, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors. Following my undergraduate studies, I moved to Iron Knot Ranch, a Vajrayana Buddhist meditation center where I lived, worked, and participated in various retreats. This experience strengthened my desire to serve others by working to enhance equity, thus inspiring me to return to school to pursue an MSW.

What every student should know about the UW campus:
Campus and the surrounding area is filled with so many opportunities for outdoor recreation- even in the wintertime! I highly recommend getting outside whenever you need to break up the stress of school work and reconnect with nature!
